Discovery Time

A chance to meet new friends and to practice our value of the week. We have been trying to be considerate of each other which is helping each other, saying and doing nice things to each other and remembering our manners.

Working Together

The children get lots of opportunities to work together. They help each other and learn together. Great work!!
Azarius and Kaiden do some sound work together.
After writing the children share their work with each other and check to see if their buddies have met the criteria for the day.

Cats

Mrs Jamieson read the Lynley Dodd book 'Scattercat' to the children. Afterwards they drew their own cats. She was excited to see the wonderful cats the children produced.

Read to someone

When we read to someone it gives us the opportunity to practice reading for an audience. We need to remember to make our reading sound like talking and to look for the punctuation marks.
Here Kimberley is listening to Duccan read.
