Working on writing at reading time

One of our activities at reading time this week was to write on our long white boards. These children wrote stories about their holidays and Jarvis wrote about how he likes school.

Duffy Books

Wow, what an exciting day! Regina Sheek came to present Duffy Books to our School. Regina has played for the Black Ferns and has taken part in 3 world cups. She was also a police officer. We couldn't wait to break open our  box and get stuck into reading our very own books. 

Little Garden

Mrs Morely has collected enough little gardens for all of Te Waipuna to plant one each. Last term we all potted up a vegetable or herb plant. This term we have been watching them sprout in Room 11. Soon we will plant them in the school garden.
